The United States’ National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) has recently welcomed Elys Game Technology Corporation as its newest member. Both organizations will now be working together to promote the development and implementation of responsible gaming practices in the country’s market where Elys Game Technology has had long-term plans of venturing into.
In the United States, the National Council on Problem Gambling has been leading the fight to protect Americans from gambling-related harm. One of the most notable things that the organization is known for is championing programs and services that are meant to help both individuals and families that may be affected by problem gambling.
This is, of course, very important work and thus having all the help that it can get is certainly something worth taking note of. Elys Game Technology’s decision to be a part of the council will ensure a lot of growth for these programs. Most notably the gaming technology developer will be supporting the NCPG’s problem gambling prevention, treatment, education, and research programs. They will also be collaborating to come up with even more innovative responsible gambling policies for the US market.
“Elys’ broad reach and commitment to responsible gambling will be a tremendous asset to NCPG as we continue raising awareness about problem gambling and the resources available to support those impacted. We look forward to working together with Elys to increase our mutual understanding of player behavior and reduce the risks of gambling problems.” Keith Whyte, the Executive Director of NCPG.
Thankfully, Elys Game Technology has always been strongly committed to “ensuring the best and safest for our gambling operators and their players, while assisting those individuals who show signs of problem gambling behavior.” This is just yet another extension of that commitment.
Big Plans for the New Market
Elys Game Technology’s sports betting platform will be making its debut in the United States very soon and its partnership with the NCPG is part of the preparations it is making for that launch. The first deployment of the company’s sports betting platform will be in Washington D.C., which is one of the most vibrant sports betting markets in the country.
The state is expected to be the first of many more launches across various states in the country. Sports betting has been thriving in the country since the United States Supreme Court lifted the ban on sports betting making the country one of the most lucrative markets that the technology developer can venture into.
