Caesars Entertainment has been honored with the Corporate Responsibility Award by the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) at the National Conference on Gambling Addiction & Responsible Gambling. This recognition underscores Caesars’ commitment to advancing responsible gaming practices, a commitment exemplified by significant policy changes in 2023.

The NCPG hosts numerous yearly events in addition to this conference, such as Problem Gambling Awareness Month in March and the Gift Responsibly Campaign throughout November and December. Its work largely influences many important developments in the world of gaming.

The award celebrates Caesars’ introduction of two pivotal policies: the Universal Exclusion program and the 21+ gambling policy.

Launched in March 2023, the Universal Exclusion program ensures that individuals who opt into the program are added to a statewide exclusion list, barring them from both online and in-person gambling activities. Concurrently, the 21+ policy restricts access to Caesars Rewards and all gambling platforms, including Caesars Sportsbook, to individuals under the age of 21.

Enhanced Responsible Gaming Tools

Caesars has already implemented these regulations and more to encourage safe gaming. Everything from self-exclusion to deposit and play limitations to cooling-off periods is at the player’s discretion and is easily accessible. Taking preventative actions is only one component of the company’s larger plan to secure the safety of gamers and promote responsible gaming.

Caesars Entertainment CEO Tom Reeg took satisfaction in the company’s accomplishments and vowed to maintain the highest standards of responsible gaming as North America’s biggest casino operator. According to him this award from the National Council on Problem Gambling is a reflection of the team’s hard work and commitment to creating a gaming environment where people may play responsibly.

Caesars’ dedication to continuous learning and community involvement extends beyond alterations to policies. Over 1,800 people who work with the organization have received problem gambling awareness training. The seven-member council of Caesars also monitors the company’s philanthropic efforts that are meant to encourage responsible gaming.
