In a major move for the global gaming landscape, the American Gaming Association (AGA), Britain’s Betting & Gaming Council (BGC), and the European Casino Association (ECA) have forged a three-way partnership aimed at tackling pressing industry issues. This collaboration is anchored by a newly signed memorandum of understanding, which outlines a commitment to uphold industry values while focusing on key priorities such as illegal gambling, responsible gaming, innovation, and security.
The alliance will establish a collaborative framework for joint research initiatives, enabling the partners to pool their expertise and resources effectively. Their first major initiative is a law enforcement roundtable aimed at combating illegal gambling, underscoring the urgency and significance of this partnership.
High Hopes
Bill Miller, President and CEO of the AGA, stated that this alliance represents a pivotal advancement in their shared mission to enhance the legal gaming sector and protect consumers globally.
